On the Existentialism of Heisenberg...
Light and matter are both single entities, and the apparent duality arises in the limitations of our language. –1930
Presume for a moment:
1. Light = our ability to observe
2. Matter = what we observe
If Light is equivalent to Matter, then our ability to observe is in some way that which is observed.
What we observe is objective. But our observations are translated by our own Subjectivity. Does this imply there is no difference between subjectivity and objectivity?
-meaning that something exists because we observe it, as much as because it inhabits space, has dimension and structure, etc.
How we perceive that something is then vital to its “truth”.
Every experiment destroys some of the knowledge of the system which was obtained by previous experiments. –1930
Every answer destroys some of the truth which sustains our questions.
Every time you ask something of me, I become something else.
Whenever we proceed from the known into the unknown we may hope to understand, but we may have to learn at the same time a new meaning of the word "understanding." –1958
Can we ask who is Heisenberg?
Or, what is Heisenberg?
Heisenberg describes the limitations on the full knowledge of a particle.
Or Heisenberg himself is the particle.
